The LEED® Green Building Rating System is a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of sustainable green building and development practices. LEED provides building owners and operators the necessary tools to have an immediate and measurable impact on a buildings’ performance. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
Williams Creek’s philosophy and experience integrating natural resources into site design, minimizing impacts to the land, and mimicking pre-development hydrology correlate well with the LEED program.
